Passkey Lite

This is a lighter version of the Passkey product and it can remove some of the restrictions on the Blu-Ray DVDs.

Passkey Lite is a simple version of Passkey for DVD and Passkey for Blu-Ray. It can remove part of DVD and Blu-Ray copy protections and let you watch any DVD freely with no region limit. The restrictions that can be removed by the Passkey Lite program include CSS, CPPM, RC, RCE, APS, and UOPs. For Blu-Ray, it can mange AACS V10, RC, BD-Live, and UOPs. The tool will let you play any DVD irrespective of region restriction on a player with a specific region key. For full ripping features and cloning capabilities you`ll have to use the full featured Passkey for DVD. Passkey lite can let you work with other software to let you play with protected media. Several such products exist. These include DVD copy, DVD ripper, Blu-Ray copy, Blu-Ray ripper and Blu-Ray to DVD converter from DVDFab, this same publisher.

Several other products from different manufacturers such as PowerDVD 7/8/9/10, TotalMedia theatra 3, WinDVD 8/9/2010, Roxio 2010 with I/O Mode set to `Advanced` under the General tab and many others work with this product too. The interface could not have been simpler. The display area shows the media contents in a structured way to make selection of content easy. The other part shows you details of any DVD that may have been loaded into your system`s DVD drive. The whole reason for existence of this product seems to be to subvert the digital rights management (DRM) systems. This is legal thin ice, the user should be aware of the pitfalls. The product works OK.
